About the Firm
John Mininno founded Mininno Law Office in January 2005 when he renovated and remodeled the old white mansion at 475 White Horse Pike and founded the personal injury, criminal defense
and educational law firm. In addition to housing three
attorneys Mininno Law Office, has a multi discipline bi-lingual
paralegal staff. Our paralegals are trained to take the
client through the intake process starting with the discovery
phase leading right up to trial. The paralegal department is
available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Many times at a
time of crisis, clients and their families have come to rely on
the firm's 24 hour service.
Mininno Law Office has a rich tradition of public service to the community. John Mininno and his staff are deeply committed to the communities in which they live and work. As John says "we are a friends and family firm". The firm connects to the community through the pro bono legal services it provides to persons of limited means, the service activities it undertakes to build and strengthen the community, and the generous financial support it provides to a wide range of charitable and cultural organizations.
The Law Office is firm in its belief that representing the “little guy” against corporate America and insurance companies. "What kind of country are we living in?" asks John. "Was Lincoln just a fool when he said this is a country of, by, and for the people? Or did he say something that we can really believe in, that little children can recite with pride in school?
No! This is a country of
the corporations, by the corporations, and for the
filthy rich corporations and insurance companies. A corporation can
be a criminal -- an absolute criminal -- and nobody
can do a damned thing about it!" A
corporation and an insurance company can sue for whatever sum of
money they desire; yet they lobby congress to “cap” the rights
of individuals whom they harm. Our lawyers' verdicts, ratings, and results reflect our
prominence in the legal fields of personal injury, criminal law
and educational law. Updated technology, superior support staff,
and a commitment to justice contribute to our firm's top ranking.
One of the most definitive measures of the firm's success is our
referral base. Many of our personal injury clients are referred by
healthcare providers and many of our medical malpractice clients
are referred by other attorneys, which is indicative of the esteem
in which the firm is held by other professionals and our peers in
the legal community. We are deeply committed to ensuring
that the legal system serves the needs of our clients. We have
represented clients in all phases of Personal
Injury-- Wrongful Death-- Medical
Malpractice-- Dangerous Products -- Car
and Truck Accidents--Birth Injury--Dog
Bites--Slip and Fall--Criminal-Defense--Educational
Law Our personal injury practice
involves car and truck accidents, slip and fall cases, dog bites,
and among many other cases. Our medical malpractice department
represents individuals who have been harmed by negligent medical
treatment, including medication errors, surgical mistakes, failure
to diagnose cancer, and hospital and nursing negligence. We also
seek justice for children born with preventable birth defects caused
by obstetrical malpractice during labor and delivery, along with
seniors injured by nursing home abuse or neglect. After trying
numerous cases and working with world-renowned experts, our
lawyers have developed vast experience in these areas. As a result
of years of experience dealing with serious injury, medical
malpractice and wrongful death claims, we have developed a
thorough understanding of complex medical conditions and
life-altering injuries such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord
injury, serious back and neck injuries, fractures, and organ
injuries. Our Educational Law
department often is called into action when schools start blaming
parents for their child's poor grades. Many times it
is the other way around. Our Attorney advocate Laura
DeCencio and her paralegals battle to make schools do their job
and teach our children. We can stop the school from pushing your
child down and then blaming you for the problem created. We
have experience working with evaluations, IEP's and 504 plans. We
are responsive; we pride ourselves on returning phone calls the
same day we receive them. Local school districts that are
close to our office are Collingswood,
Haddon Heights, Haddon
Township, Haddonfield,
Oaklyn , Audubon,
Barrington,
Merchantville,
and the City of Camden. Our Criminal Law division is a 24
hour a day operation. Unfortunately, DUI/DWI
problems can happen at any time. We know that when someone makes a
mistake their entire life rests on the quick and proactive decisions
that are made. We have the experience of being county and municipal
prosecutors. These relationships give us the ability to
skillfully negotiate our clients through the justice
system. We work as a team. We are innovative. We work diligently for
our clients. We return phone calls the day we receive them.
We will meet with clients on Saturdays and Sundays to accommodate
your busy work schedules. We fight to keep our clients out of
trouble, compensated for their injuries and get the best education
they deserve. Our practice areas are:

As a trial lawyer, John encounters corporate America and insurance
companies in a way that few other individuals ever do -- through its
legal departments. Corporate defense attorneys commonly pursue the
strategy of wearing down opponents, filing motion after motion, and
challenging every single aspect of a case before anything ever gets
to trial. They get paid by the hour so they pursue what has been
called General Patton's tactic of making the enemy spend all his
resources before we spend all of ours. Through most of the history
of product liability and other tort cases, the “little guy” bar
has been completely outgunned and outspent by insurance companies
and by corporate treasuries.
